Fazenda Venturosa is another farm in Bahia that I have visited and chosen to work with. I use their cacao variety Para Parinzho. Take a look at the images and you will see that this is a variety that is know and a forastero and very characteristic of Brazilian cocoa. It is tiny, ball shaped and smooth.  Owners of Fazenda Venturosa, Jim and Lola, a Texan rancher and Brazilian cacao farmer handle all of the logisitics and love to follow up on results with their chocolate.
